Flash or interactive design has been one of the visually affective ways to capture an audience on the web. The majority of interactive media is used for flash ad banners, videos and video players. The majority of movies on web sites such as YouTube and Facebook are played with flash based playesr capable of streaming. Flash is also used as an affective medium to display data in real time. Pandora, one of the most popular internet radio stations is all flash based. This is alos sometimes referred to as rich media. This form of rich media has a bit more flexibility in fluidity, design, and typography, however some say there are incompatibilities also. Either or, flash design can provide a very nice user experience, especially if it is used in considerable amounts and an affective methodology.
